American TV actress Jerrika Delayne Hinton was born on September 28, 1981 to Avaleon and Cynthia in Dallas, Texas. She's famous for her role as Stephanie Edwards in the ABC medical drama series, Grey's Anatomy and also as Ashley Black in the series Here, Now. She attended Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of the Arts where she graduated in 2002 with a BFA in the Liberal Arts, studied theatre, directing and playwriting.
