Mai Selim's real name is Mai Abdel-Jabbar Hamdan Selim. Born on November 6, 1983 in Dubai to a Jordanian father and a Lebanese mother, she is an actress and a singer from Jordan and the sister of popular comedian Mais Hamdan.
Mai relocated to Egypt when she was young which made her songs to be in Egyptian dialect. For her educational background, she graduated from Maritime Academy in Egypt with a degree in Business studies.
