Venus Raj's real/full name is Maria Venus Bayonito Raj. She is a Filipino model, TV host and an actress born on July 7, 1988 as the youngest of five children in Doha, Qatar to an Indian father and a Filipino mother. She is popular for wining the 2010 Miss Universe-Philippines pageant and also was among the finalist in the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant.

Another title she has won is the 2008 Miss Philippines Earth Eco Tourism pageant title. Venus has a degree in journalism from Bicol University and is also well known for hosting a Philippine television variety program called ASAP 20. She won PMPC Star Awards for TV Best Morning Show Host and her height is 1.75 m.
