Ramona Rina Amiri was born on April 16, 1980 in Montreal, Québec to an Iranian father and a Persian mother. She is a Canadian born Iranian model who is best known for wining the Miss World Canada 2005 and went ahead to represent Canada at Miss World 2005 but didn't come out successful.

Ramona graduated from University of British Columbia with a major in Biology. She also competed in the Miss Universe Canada 2007 pageant but was placed first runner-up.
