Bill T Jones Biography - Age, Facts


Bill T Jones though old but he's full of talent. Born on February 15, 1952 in Bunnell, Florida, he's an American artistic director, choreographer and dancer. Bill attended Wayland Central School in Wayland, New York and later began his dance training at Binghamton University, where he studied classical ballet and modern dance. On the course of his career he has won many awards which includes;

2003 -  The Dorothy and Lillian Gish Prize, one of the richest prizes in the arts

2007 - Won Tony Award for Best Choreography for Spring Awakening
            2007 USA Eileen Harris Norton Fellow and awarded a $50,000 grant by United States Artists             Inducted into the National Museum of Dance's Mr. & Mrs. Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney Hall of Fame

2010 - Won the Tony Award for Best Choreography for his work in Fela!
2011 - YoungArts Arison Award
2014 - 2013 National Medal of Arts
