Niki Karimi was born on November 1971 in Tehran. The Iranian actress, director and screenwriter started to feature in theater since her elementary school days. In her career, she has won many awards such as; Best Actress at Nantes Three Continents Festival (1992), Best Actress at Cairo International Film Festival (2001) and Silver Seashell, San Sebastian Film Festival (1993).
